QT Phone Gnome
Yes, I confess, I have a strange sense of humour. When I was chatting about kit names with my hubby, I told him my ideas for this kit. Then we followed the 'gnome' play on words around, cracking ourselves up, and when I came up with this one I was just laughing and laughing. So I had to use it. Move aside, E.T. Q Tea is Phoning Gnome this Summer ;)

2008 Creative Team + Guests
Introducing the inaugural Q Tea Creative Team + 2008 Guests!
Meet the team:
Sylvia King
"Hi, my name is Sylvia and I live in Hamburg, Germany with my husband Jeff. I started scrapbooking in 2005, although I have been creative with paper and
photos and fabrics for a long time already. My work has been published in
the German scrapbooking mag Scrap-Art-Zine and I am a creative team member of Just 1 Word, a German inspiration blog. When I don't scrap, I sleep,
cook, play the cello or play soccer on the playstation with my hubby :-P . I
also love to play with paints and mixed media and get the kitchen really
really messy with my art supplies. I'm happy to be part of the creative team
for Q Tea, as I find the kit contents so inspiring I forget everything"
around me once the parcel arrived in my mailbox..."

Merdrey Chew
"Hello from sunny Singapore! My name is Merdrey and I love anything artsy! Before ‘scrapbooking’ has any real meaning to me other than sticking stuff in jotter books, I was a stick-my-photos-in-non-acid-free-albums-with-tons-of-memorabilia scrapper. Photography was also on my list of likes and I was always going around saying ‘Take photo Take photo!’ Sometime late 2006, I discovered a treasure cove full of scrapbooking materials and I was hooked! What better way to preserve both my photos and the memories at the same time!! I did my first layout in Feb’07 and I just kept going. I am quite a dreamer and I love to think about new ideas, techniques and materials to incorporate into my layouts. My dream is to be able to think out of the box each time I scrap and be able to scrap with any supplies and photos I have! Scrapbooking provides the creativity and element of surprise I need in my life as no two layouts will be the same. So, follow your heart, grab your supplies and scrap!"

Lianne Gray
"Hi, I'm Lianne. I live in Port Waikato, Auckland, NZ. I have been scrapbooking for 6 years and have always been more interested in the arty side of scrapbooking and recently the use of non-traditional scrapbooking supplies on my pages, the things that add that extra special touch and make it more fun. That’s how I came across Qtea kits."

Q Tea Gallery
To make it easier for you fabulous creative people to share your work using Q Tea kits, I have updated the way the gallery works. Rather than just a flickr account, Q Tea now has a Gallery Group. This means anyone can join the group, and simply send images from their own flickr account to the Q Tea Kits Gallery group, without having to email me at all.
If you don't have a flickr account and would still like to share your creations, you can still email me to have it added to Q Tea's account, or join flickr - it's free for a basic membership! I have already added all of the Q Tea gallery to the new group account - you can check it out, and join the group, here:
http://www.flickr.com/groups/596565@N24/
I'll update the sidebar shortly to reflect the group link. Would love you all to join!
Any questions, simply email me at qteakits@danielleq.com

Creative Team Call Update
There are a lot of amazing entries sitting in my inbox for Q Tea's creative team call! I will announce the new Q Tea Creative Team on Friday, including guest designer spots. Watch this space :)
