Where's my wild side?

Ok so I have used up all my "Where the wild things are" kit already, and boy did I love it ;)
I completed 2 layouts and then decided to make something a little different.

First off my "Hero" layout.
Made using nut & bee notepaper
map paper
wild things image
compendium hero image
dictionary book paper

Next is "Searching for my wild side" I am determined this year to scrap more pages for my album, not an easy task.
made using -wild things tag
leaf post-it note
vintage flash card
map paper
magnifying glass paper
dictionary book paper

I used my new cuttle bug to make the alphabet letters so I managed to make the map paper go a long way as it was really great paper. I embossed some of the paper for added texture too. I love playing with new toys ;)

another thing I like to do is glue paper down and let it dry a bit before I rip it back off for a grungy look. I used my sewing machine with both of these pages as I was almost out of tape, quick and easy too.

Next a made something a little different, a button fairy. I love how it turned out.
Made using - Leaf charm
nature lovers button mix
and the map paper again. I stamped on the map paper, burnt into it with a candle (it almost caught fire so one side is more burnt lol) and then I coated it with dimensional magic for stability and shine. The head is polymer clay. Here she is hanging on a B for button fairy lol no it's B for Belinda, I have large wooden letters on my kitchen wall for all our names, kind of quirky and a bit different.

I hope everyone has as much fun with this kit as I did. Please go and visit the Qtea flickr site and share your creations with us. I love seeing what other people do with the kits.

Take care all
Belinda
