Lots to share!

i'm late...so late! It has been a busy busy month and i saved the best for last =) I was busy creating using the March kit (Where the wild things are) and the lovely lovely April kit (A Stitch in time)...and here's what i did =)

Lifetime Journey (using Where the wild things are)

i cut the fabric into circles to line the edges of the layout and i extremely love the map paper!!

Going Japanese (using A stitch in time)

I really love anything sewing related like dress patterns and instructions in the A Stitch In Time kit!! When i first saw the 'spools' of thread...i knew i had to use them as they are..

Going Japanese

Is the picture of the iron cute? I like it!

Going Japanese

i also like to ruffle up the dress patterns! What i did was to first put glue on the base paper...crumple the dress pattern and stick them on..

Going Japanese

This layout documents what i was wearing on my birthday! =) A Japanese looking outfit! The next project is an album, which records my birthday celebrations with family and friends...also using the April Kit, A Stitch in Time!

Really happy with the alphabet 'M'!! To embellish further, i layered the alpha on the white plastic that came with the kit, as well as the Buzz and Bloom chipboard! Used the doily as a border ruffle..

on this second page above, the lovely doily takes centrestage as the background!

Do fray the cross stitch cloth for more interest!

The above background is actually the mounting piece where the Japanese fabrics were attached to!

My favourite piece from the kit!! The paperdoll dress!

Once again, the dress pattern was crumpled and glued as a background!

The above transparency page uses the Elle Studio tags as well as the dress pattern. Doesn't it look like a fabric ribbon ruffle? Try it!

M turns 29

Here the dress pattern is used as a photo mat!

Another background =)

Don't waste that small piece of doily...mix it with another piece of paper to create a fun romantic background!

here..the red cross stitch paper pattern is used as a background!

love that hearts border paper too!!

Thanks for looking and i hope this give you lots of ideas to use your Qtea kits! Don't be afraid to mix and match with tradition scrapbooking supplies for that added interest!! Can wait to receive May's The Greatest Show on Earth kit...i already have the photos in mind for that!!! Have you ordered yours??

hugs. Merdrey

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I'm always having problems making mini albums, but I think you might gave me the kick in the behind that I needed!
